Join ASBG: Spring 2015 Elections Packets Available Now!!!!
- Are you interested in gaining leadership experience?
- Do you have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better?
- Are you enrolled in a minimum of eight credit units?
If you answered yes to these questions, you are eligible to be a member of ASBG Board
of Directors! There are 2 ways you can become involved with ASBG...run for office
or enroll in Leadership 111.
If you would like to have a position on the ASBG Board of Directors, you may run for
office during ASBG Elections in the spring semester prior to the year you hold office.
For example, if you would like to have a position in ASBG during the 2015-2016 academic
year, you will need to run for office in Spring 2015. Once you are elected for a
position, you must enroll in Leadership 111.

Enroll in Leadership 111: Princ/Prac Student Government
Offered in Fall/Spring: Time: 11:30am -1:30pm Ticket # (listed under Leadership
in Course Schedule
By enrolling in Leadership 111, you become involved with the Associated Student Body
Government process during the lab section of the class. Leadership 111 is a class
designed to build leadership styles and skills. Topics include communication, group
dynamics, ethics, planning, motivation, time management, organizational structure
and parliamentary procedure. You can enroll in Leadership 111 and apply for a position
once you are in the class. In order to apply for an open position, you must complete an application and participate in the interview process.
Print the application, complete and turn in Student Center G 105.
