student services, academic expectations, online resources, and college policies and
Provides an informal assessment process to determine academic readiness in adult basic
education (English and math), English as Second language (ESL) courses, and alternate

Provide academic, career, and personal counseling and advising to current and future
students. Assist with course selection, educational goal setting and refer to other
programs as necessary.
Maintain contact with student as necessary to ensure student success.
