Multimedia Arts & Communication

The Multimedia concentration of study provides a comprehensive foundation in the electronic arts at the core of our increasingly audio-visual culture. Our project-based Multimedia training fosters artistic and technical skills in the digital media including imaging, video, audio, animation, and interactive interface design.

As a student of the Multimedia program you have the opportunity to build your own emphasis in web design, video post-production or animation depending on your choice of electives. You will become proficient in the use of software including:

  • Flash
  • Photoshop
  • After Effects
  • Dreamweaver
  • Final Cut Pro
  • Soundtrack
  • DVD Studio Pro and others

The A.S. degree in Multimedia prepares you for transfer to four-year programs in digital media, and for entry-level employment in the creative industries.
