Santa Maria Campus 
Monday – Thursday:  9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday:  9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Lompoc Valley Center (LVC)*
Monday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. & 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Tuesday: 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Wednesday: 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. & 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Thursday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. & 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

*The LVC Library is open to all AHC students Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. & Friday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.. The hours above reflect Writing Center services at the LVC.

After hours services

Paper Submission for Review is available Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. See the Paper Submission section for more information. Please note: Paper Submission for Review is a service only offered during the Spring and Fall semesters. 

The Writing Center Chat Box is available for extended hours throughout the semester. Please visit the AHC Writing Center homepage to access the chat feature.

Hours - Winter

Both Santa Maria and LVC Writing Centers are closed for the winter session. We will reopen for the spring semester on 1/22/24. For alternative writing support, please access the free NetTutor and/or Brainfuse online tutoring services available on Canvas.
