Sample Text for Syllabus

The AHC Writing Center offers in-person and online services, including free assistance with any aspect of the writing process from brainstorming, organizing ideas, thesis development, citing sources, sentence structure, and more. Writing Center faculty do not proofread or edit assignments; instead, students work with faculty to address specific writing concerns. All students are welcome to visit the Writing Center online or in-person with a writing assignment from any AHC class. 

To access services, students must enroll in the free noncredit course BASK 7015, CRN 40640 (for SM) or CRN 41757 (for LVC), and visit the Writing Center website (www.hancockcollege.edu/writing) to meet with a faculty tutor via Zoom. Students can register through myHancock or enroll during the first online visit to the Writing Center. No appointment needed!
