Welcome to Online Chat! Testing Center staff are available for quick, Testing Center related questions. Testing Center staff will only provide general information, and will not share student's records.
HOW TO USE CHAT?
Step 1: Click on "Knock on Door" on a staff member's card if you see a green light. Note: You can also log directly in to Cranium Café by visiting https://hancockcollege.craniumcafe.com and entering your myHancock username and password. This will give you access to chat with staff from other departments on campus.
Step 2: Click on "Enter meeting"

Please note: When using the chat feature, please use a PC or a laptop and Google Chrome or Firefox as your web browser, as the program is only compatible with the mentioned. Students using other web browsers and other forms of technology may experience technical problems when trying to connect to online chat.

Welcome to the Testing Center
Located on the Santa Maria campus, the Testing Center handles GED and HiSET testing, California Educator Credentialing Assessments, and many other web-based tests and/or exams. One can also arrange test proctoring for distance learning courses taken through other colleges/universities or can arrange to take the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP); a proctoring fee of $35 is charged for each exam. AHC is a member of the Nation College Testing Association and adheres to NCTA Professional Standards and Guideline.
To maximize the use of our space, different types of testing are offered on different days. Be sure to check the Test Center Hours below to verify that your desired type of testing will be available. Most tests are offered on a first-come, first served basis. Please ensure you leave yourself enough time to complete your test within the posted Testing Center hours.
English and Math Placement
Students can not be denied entry into a transfer-level English or math classes. See more information on placement. California enacted Assembly Bill 705 (AB 705). All community colleges must maximize the chance that students will complete transfer-level math and English within one year, and transfer-level English as Second Language within three years.
