The center, which is open to the general public, consists of a classroom and administrative office. The college’s Vandenberg SFB Center is part of the Base Education Center shared with the U.S. Space Force Education Office and private four-year universities.

How to obtain a pass for classes held at the AHC Vandenberg SFB Center
If you are attending classes at the Vandenberg SFB Center and do not normally have access to the base, you are required to provide proof of registration in an Allan Hancock College class held at Vandenberg SFB (registration document/receipt), a valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, and proof of insurance when applying for a gate pass at the main gate visitor's facility. The visitor's facility is open weekdays, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Allow approximately 30 minutes for issuance of a gate pass. Passes will be issued no earlier than the morning of the day the class begins.
Students must carry their personal passes with them at all times while on base. Passes may be used only for the purpose of class attendance; students who drop Vandenberg SFB classes must relinquish their gate pass to AHC staff at the time the class is dropped.
